Emetophobia

Emetophobia is an irrational fear of being sick. And between three and five percent of the UK population are emetophobes, as they are called, so it is a relatively common psychological disorder. And it is usually women, but not always, who suffer from this problem.

Sometimes it is known as a vomit phobia or a specific fear of vomiting. Part of the problem in the world of psychology is that there has not been much research into it.
